[cobalt-developers] samba smbmount missing from Qube2?

Although its not really needed by a server, I was surprised that
there is no smbmount installed on my Qube2. It has recently become
something I need. Attempts to install either the same version of
samba (1.9.18) that it came with, or version 2.2.8, or even the
latest 3.0.2 have all met with problems.

(1.9.18 won't compile for MIPS,  and the other versions seem to use
 variables that are not in sync with the Qube's libraries)

Has anyone else run across the need for smbmount on a Qube? Has
anyone else found a solution that works?
