I was thinking that a few depreciated raq3s that are too slow for most
practical applications could be used in a DNS clustering project I've been
working on. I would normally choose linux over windowze any day, but for my
needs microsoft DNS works much better than bind.

Why would you even want to? The hardware wouldn't be recognised unless you
hacked everything to pieces. It would be a lot simpler to buy a secondhand
server on eBay
