I was advised off this that one way to fix this would be to install the 
lastest Apache 1.3.28. However I'm concerned, having heard Cobalt's 
Apache install isn't typical, that this will hose the system.

Does anyone have experience updating Apache from the command line?

I found the following guide for Raq3:

Does anyone know any issues that might mean this wouldn't work for Raq4?
