Hello.
I'm soon to be moving a Raq4 over to Debian. Fresh install on a fresh disk,
then copy over the site and email data.
I can see a few potential hassles, but by far the largest of them is the
migration of usernames and passwords. Ideally, I would like to preserve all
usernames and passwords - group ids don't matter too much, as they can be
reassigned without causing hassle to the users. However, I really don't
fancy ringing each any every one of the customers to hand out a new username
and password.
Has anyone done this before? Are there any tools around that might prove
useful, or methodologies I should use?
Thanks in advance for any information.
Cheers,
Ian
