Check out webmin.  This project allows simple GUI, webbased management of
any box, including the Cobalt hardware.  It also seems to be a lot less
messed up internally than Sun's gui solution.

Why do you say "we are left without an upgrade path." Is Sun
discontinuing the cobalt line?
