I don't suppose you know if this installs ok on a system where the kernel
was rolled-back manually after the last buggy kernel?
The kernel update before this one caused the same problems as the one last
christmas. I installed it and then had to manually roll-back the kernel on a
couple of XTRs. I've been asking around a few times to see if anyone in the
same position as me has installed this latest kernel, but haven't received
an answer yet.
I don't really want to upgrade the kernel and risk having (even) more
problems because I rolled back.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Tim
