Hi out there
during the last months i discovered something really funny concerning the fan control of RaQ XTR.
We have some XTRs that are heavily busy during some hours per day. If the CPU load exceeds
- say 7.00 - the fan control start sending emails that tell us one or more fans failed, but
that's definately not true. so i think the speed control is something software driven and
starts to fail beyond a certain load.
Well, indeed it is not a very tough case, we also use an extra program that checks the CPU
temperature every 5 minutes. But i don't like alarm systems displaying wrong messages. By
any chance has anybody an idea for a fix or workaround?
Yours
