My Active Monitor (Raq 550) is reporting that my root partition is low

It's probably the /usr directory... ("man du")
The usual suspects are the kernel sources and default java
installations.
How can I prune off unneeded files?
Well, you could just remove them ? ("man rm")
Or, if you feel you would miss them, you can copy them to another
partition.

PS. That's not a developer question either.
Try cobalt-users, or the support forum?
