Hi Matt,
I installed a Intel etherexpress PRO100 series.
The qube will not recognise the adapter, but if you bother to install the kernel source, you can build a loadable module for the card.
Further tweaking involves starting the card on boot by modifiing the etc/rc.d/init.d/networking file (adding a loadmodule e100 and ifconfig eth2 <ipadress> )
Firewall: I use the adaptive firewall. Works like a charm on the machine. I used it to create a DMZ configuration.
