What happened just before your snipet from the logs?
  Before Switching to runlevel: 6

You might try updating the ROM to varsion 2.3.38, it won't hurt!
  and maybe it will help.

Bruce has pkgs available at http://www.cobaltfaqs.com/download/
Try installing this and see if it will help
  http://www.cobaltfaqs.com/download/ROM-update-2.3.38-1.pkg

Please realize that I am grasping at straws here, just guessing
  at a fix!
