[cobalt-developers] Re: cobalt-developers digest, Vol 1 #1806 - 3 msgs

G'Day,

The Cobalt was connected through a hub.

The link led was on.

The error appears after typing bfn.

I followed your instructions - there was no mention of a bootp server but AFAIK that is part of the DHCP server?

Hi,

Could you please tell me how you connected the Cobalt with the bootp server (direct connection via a cross-over cable, connection through hub-switch, routed network, ...)

Have you checked if the link led in the rear part of the Cobalt is on?

After which step do you get these messages?

Fran

G'day,

I followed your instructions but I seem to be getting an error along the lines of "problem with PHY check cable / looking for bootp .... failed". The system keeps doing this until I turn it off.

Any directions?

Cheers

Jeffery
