RE: [cobalt-developers] cURL on a cobalt raq4

You can do it with cURL, yes. Go get it at http://curl.haxx.se -- it's
a very simple install if you just need to use the command-line
functions, which is perfectly fine to start with.

Later, you might want to use PHP's cURL extensions, in which case you'll
want a cURL-enhanced PHP build, which is another conversation.

Subject: [cobalt-developers] cURL on a cobalt raq4

Hey all

skooted through the archives but cant find any answers for this one.

I have been trying to setup a https post with our with the company we
use to validate our online payments. This will post a set of xml data to
their server and return a response.

As of yet I have not been able to get this to work, I have tried writing
a http post and logging in to port 443 on the web server then pasting
the post. I have tried every possible permutation of this post all to no
avail. I believe this is all due to the ssl link from server A) to
server B) and is not something I can test making a simple command line
http post.

The company offers no technical support setting this up or what they do
offer is so slow in coming I may as well not bother.

I have heard of something called cURL that will enable me to do the job,
has anyone got any experience using or installing this on a cobalt raq?

Thanks people
Marcus
