Peter,
Although I haven't tested this, there should be a far simpler way to
test new sites.
Create an entry for www.newdomain.com in /etc/hosts, where the ip
address is the address of the cobalt server.
Create a matching entry in the hosts file on your computer (and any
others you want to test from) On Windows machines the hosts file is
located in \windows\system32\drivers\etc or \winnt\system32\drivers\etc.
One thing to watch out for, if you edit the hosts file with Notepad,
notepad will want to add .txt to the filename when you save (as in
hosts.txt) To prevent this, change the "files of type" in the save
dialog to "all files" instead of "text files".
