FYI the price of Arkeia is wrong. I rcvd a new quote today:
Item Part Number Qty Description Price Extended
3 x Arkeia 5.1 MicroLan (1 T1, 2T2 and 2 Flows) x 690 = 2 070,00 Eur
* Network backups and restores with remote administration
* Java User Interface
* 2 Type-2 clients (Linux, BSD, Mac OS X, Windows desktop)
* 1 Type-1 clients (Unix, NetWare, Mac OS X & Windows Server)
* 2 Parallel backup flows
Single tape drive or hard disk backup drivers included on each backup server
So it is 2070,- Euro for 3 licenses instead of 990,- Euro as mentioned before...

Jevon,
I asked pricing info to both Arkeia and Legato for 3 (three) RaQ 550s and the prices I got were:
- Arkeia 5.0.x MiniLan basic (5T2-2F) 990 990,00 EUR
They also offered a Software update subscription 1 year 168,30 EUR and a Select Support Program 447,50 EUR which brought the total (with Shipping and Handling 20,00 EUR) to 1625,80 EUR in total. On top of that there are also several options such as a MySQL Plug-in.
- Legato NetWorker Server for Workgroup Edition for Unix 3.915,00 Euro.
They also offered Telephone software support Legato NetWorker Software 1.500,00 Euro which brought the total to 5.415,00 Euro.
Brgds,
Reginald

Has anyone used Legato or the other bundled backup solution?
How much do these systems cost?
