[cobalt-developers] transfer a user from one virtual site to another

Hello all Unix wizards!

On our RaQ4, we have a customer who had two virtual sites and wants now only one. Now, a user of the site to be canceled has to remain and should be transferred to the other site. 

How can I achieve this painlessly in order to keep all his login/password information, e-mail file, aliases etc.? Would it be sufficient just to change the site # in /etc/passwd? Is the postgresql database also involved? Would a meta-verify -ui and a meta-verify -ua fix it?
