The cobalt-announce list isn't used much anymore, but the archives are at:
http://list.cobalt.com/pipermail/cobalt-announce/
Sometimes Sun even remembers to update the patches web pages located at:
http://sunsolve.sun.com/patches/cobalt/
But usually the patches just show up in BlueLinQ - "out of the blue" :-) ,
and then you wait for some brave soul to test them out and see what breaks ?
(Taking the packages apart and looking at the RPM files directly works too.)
The main problems with the patches are:
1) arriving very late, if at all
2) breaking stuff when installed
