I thought the maximum memory that could be installed on the RaQ4 was 512MB?

I would certainly add another 512MB of RAM if this is possible.

It's probably best to install  1 gig of memory. When you get the
memory warning that seems to mean that the server is taking a long
time to process all the logs and stats; So some of the stuff from
cron.daily is still running when your users are getting their mail
etc. in the AM. This sometimes causes problems like SMTP errors.
