    Well, it took a little longer than I hoped, but
    I got the following in my E-mail this morning:

	> After several recent requests from customers we have
	> decided to proactively post all source rpms for our open
	> source (ie GPL, non-proprietary) appliance packages. Also
	> included were kernel-source rpms as well which normally
	> were not distributed in .pkg files.

	> As of tuesday, these packages are available on
	> ftp.cobalt.sun.com under the appropriate directory of the
	> form: /pub/products/<product>/updates/<locale>/[RPMS,SRPMS]

    Note that for now we are still using the Linux
    kernel "dynamic module" exemption for Cobalt's
    bwmgmt bandwidth management module.
