[cobalt-developers] python 2.2 update

Ok, upgraded to 2.2, no errors yet... the bbright side is it doesnt
overright 2.0, just installs 2.2 librarys and sym links them

Not yet.  But I was in the process of installing 2.2 on a RaQ4 today when I
ran into an unrelated inode limit issue I posted to cobalt-users.  Once
resolved I'll be resuming.  Offhand I'm not sure if anything on the 550 uses
Python so if it doesn't you should be able to upgrade, otherwise you will
want to install to a different location.  If you don't make progress or get
speedier feedback, I'll post the RaQ4 experience after my client's box is
reformatted or imaged to a new drive (do to the inode problem).
