Thank you very much, I have <pfew> the same chekcsums </pfew> :-)
BTW, lastb never ever reported a bad login (even though I simulated
wrong ftp-logins; no telnet, only ssh) and /var/log/btmp has zero-length
(/var/log/wtmp is huge). Same at your place? Why?
