On the RaQ550 it's the power button, yes. On the RaQ3 and RaQ4 it's just a backlit piece of plastic. I'm not sure if it can be flashed, but lcd.h appears to have provisions for controlling it in place.


I don't know (I do not have one here in front of me) if the logo light is passed thru from user-space to kernel space on older kernels. It is bit #2 (value 4) in the code. 2.4.x kernels should pass it through for sure.
