Word of caution John, if it is indeed running IPTABLES, then it is definately running a custom kernel (2.4+ i believe is the only way to use iptables) and so for the RaQ3 to run a 2.4 kernel the BIOS has to be flashed.
If the bios has been flashed, i'd recommend re-flashing it with the original raq3 version before trying the O/S restore, because i've had some peculiarities when trying to do an O/S restore when the BIOS was flashed to support the 2.4 kernel.
