Hi,

we do the same, it's quite simple. We use a server that does nothing but mail. Let's say it's name is mail.ourserver.com and a server that does nothing but Web, let's say it's name is web.ourserver.com

So we set up a custom DNS like this:

www.customdomain.com	CNAME	web.ourserver.com
ftp.customdomain.com	CNAME	web.ourserver.com
mail.customdomain.com	CNAME	mail.ourserver.com
			MX	high	mail.ourserver.com

So customer can access the mailserver with mail.customerdomain.com.

The last thing you have to do is to set up you mailserver to accept email for customdomain.com

Hope i could help
