I have a RAQ4i and when I setup a site I want the smtp to use a different
server. I know the changes I need to make at the dns level but what
changes do i need to make on the RAQ. Do i just keep the (Email Server
Aliases) field blank in the site admin area?
Since my email resides on the same server will my mail go to the other
email server or try to resolve on the RAQ?
Any help please.
You could try creating an A record for the mail server such as
mail.domain.com and pointing that at the other server. In the RAQ control
panel you would use that host in both the MX record and the site setup. It
should work, though there's probably another way of doing it.
