Kevin,
I had to uninstall to old version (1.3), then reinstall the new version
(2.3 at that time) to make it work. I just uninstalled it manually and
then used the pkg through the GUI.
To manually Uninstall and Install patches/programs
A. Installs are located in /var/lib/cobalt
B. Uninstalls are located in /var/lib/cobalt/uninstallers
1. Run the ./uninstall-file-name
NOTE: The Data started over. I didn't try it but if I had to do it
again I would try using tar to tar the stats directory. Then after
install compare the files and restore the data???????? It's an
experiment that I would like to try. Otherwise, I would ask my clients
to take the information before you wipe it.
To Tar a directory with its extensions and structure.
1. tar cvf newfilename.tar directoryname
