RE: [cobalt-developers] phpBB 2.0.3 on RAQ4i

While trying to install phpBB, I get an error after I click "Start
Install", saying "An error has occurred during installation. The php
configuration on your server doesn't support the database type that you
choose." 


MySQL is [admin admin]$ mysql -V 
mysql Ver 11.12 Distrib 3.23.33, for pc-linux-gnu (i686) 

Under the Database Type select dropdown, I select MySQL 3.x. 

I'm trying to run this on a Cobalt Qube 3 server appliance. 

I set my DSN to localhost (which should run just fine), have already
created a database in mysql called phpbb, the script path is fine. Not
sure where to go from here. 

Linux version: Linux www.my_domain.com 2.2.16C32_III+VPN #1 Fri Nov 9
23:43:07 PST 2001 i586 unknown. 

Any suggestions?

This is how MySQL is compiled, './configure' '--prefix=/usr'
