That isn't very helpful for users of RAQ 4 and below.. with the last big Apache hole Sun took an inordinate length of time to release a patch, while one of the more recent security patches was withdrawn due to problems (strange when you consider that the accompanying PDF manual dates from almost 6 months prior to the release)

Fortunately for us all there are people like Gerald Waugh and the Solarspeed team around who graciously share their time and expertise with the wider user community when we are faced with such serious security threats.

Another thing that really confuses me (and I'm probably not alone in this one) is the status of Apache. Why on earth didn't Sun release a pkg version of 1.3.26 instead of a retrofit 1.3.20 ???
