Thanks to all the responses. I think I am now well enough informed to
give it a go.
I had understood that the Cobalt Qube3 had NySQL already installed.
I'll let you know. Also regarding the confusion about the ports
question. perhaps it was a silly question, it was just that I wanted to
make sure that I would be able to use the web based client and
admin tools via port 80 or 8080. For all I knew the PHP4 stuff may have
worked via some other ports? I told you I was a bit of a beginner.
Anyway thanks again and I'll report back how I get on.
Oh hang on. What about uids and passwords for the MySQL management, I
think I saw something about default passwords in an earlier post. Will
I be using mysqladmin as the administration uid?? I suppose the admin
screens don't show up users like this do they?
