Hi Rene,

The path does not exist. 
[root admin]# cd /usr/sausalito/handlers/base/vsite/               
sh: /usr/sausalito/handlers/base/vsite/: No such file or directory

I don't have the vsite dir
[root /]# cd /usr/sausalito/handlers/base
[root base]# ls -all

Of course, just have a look at the handler 
/usr/sausalito/handlers/base/vsite/vsite_create.pl 
this is the handler invoked to create vsites.
juste add a use DBI at the beginning and make your sql queries properly
to 
create database and user associated to it.
