On or Off Topic Also Re: [cobalt-developers] problems booting the redhat 7.3 kernel ona raq3

I think as a whole we should be pretty lenient on this list. With the
recent release of the LX50, there is a possibility of different topics
coming up on this list.

I believe it will benefit all on this list to welcome other Linux Sun
related development issues and questions outside of how do I use this or
do that. Basically things that would apply more to a user list than
developer.

Otherwise at some point down there is the possibility of a different
mailing list to be created for Linux issues around the LX50 and other
upcoming Sun Linux products.

Or do the rest here feel that this list should be kept to development
using Cobalt appliances and other lists be created for Sun Linux
development issues?

Basically to the point should this list be development of/on Sun/Cobalt
appliances, or development of/on Sun Linux equipment.

I mean the Cobalt names is still around for now, but may not be forever.

Now back to the RedHat related porting issues using a RaQ, I am curious
and interested. Not to mention would like to see or hear of someone
succeeding in doing it. So I welcome that discussion and questions to
the list, and second Jeff's comments below.

Just my two cents I welcome others.
