If you run
[root /root]# ps aux | grep java
Do you get anything back?
[root /root]# netstat -tupan | grep java
tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:8007 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 14244/java
This should not yield anything either
I get
Starting tomcat. Check logs/tomcat.log for error messages
No webapps/ directory /usr/java/jakarta-tomcat-3.2.3/webapps
2002-08-03 15:12:05 - PoolTcpConnector: Starting Ajp12ConnectionHandler on
