If nothing comes up at all during poweron. then something bad happened. 
 It should come up at least to the ROM.  If nothing comes up, I'm 
afraid you're in trouble.  You need to re-program the flash, but it is 
almost guaranteed soldered.  I don't know if there is a procedure for 
fixing such cases.  I'll see what I can find.
