Thanks sascha
Sounds easlier than I expected.
Thought I would have to add something to the httpd.conf
Will try your advice.

Hi everyone
This must be a real easy question I know.
How can I reidrect all requests to a non existing page (i.e error 404)
to a standard page under the same domain.
i.e all requests to a url on domain helpme.com that do not exist should end
up at
helpme.com/notfound.htm
Thanks
John
