i went through it... java is installed now... no problems... but i'm
afraid to configure PHP because i don't know what the other options actually
are

i have to do this:

./configure -with-java [-other-configuration-options]

so how can i found out the actual configuration (so that everything i need
is there)

something like

./configure --gimme actual configuration

next thing is:

someone told me it's kinda dangerous to recompile (is it the same like
reconfigure?) php because you can break the gui of the sun cobalt. i found a
tutorial in the knowledge base but i'm very afraid of things happen there :-)
