Why are the clients angry?
I'd strongly suggest you have a problem with your RaQ; lthe clue was
when you wrote that the gui isn't stable.
It looks like either you've been hacked or you have a hardware failure.
Certainly I'd want to backup the system (we use CMU for this, plus a few
other selected directory backups) and a complete restore.
Depending on the nature of your reported "instability" I might also want
to do a complete destructive reformat of the hard drive, including
checking for errors.
There are a bunch of consultants on this list who will be happy to help
you if you can't do it yourself.
Once you're past this hurdle, I'd look at a backup solution that'll
enable you to get running again within two hours or so if you have
problems again.
