The package on ftp.cobalt.net is definately corrupt, the one on
ftp.cobaltnet.com is not.
We installed it successfully on our XTR during February.
You will need to follow the instructions in the documentation about ftp'ing
it onto the XTR because there is a limit on direct uploads via the GUI of
8Mb and the size of the correct package is a little over 27Mb - but having
done that all went exactly to plan
ftp://ftp.cobalt.com/pub/developer/Java/i386/Java_Dev_Kit_Doc_v1.3.pdf
Download package from ftp.cobaltnet.com to your local machine
Log in to server via FTP as user admin
Upload package to /home/sites/home/web
Go into Bluelinq via the XTR GUI
Select New Software
Select Install Manually
Select URL and the enter
http://<name_of_local_host>/RaQXTR-Java-Dev-Kit-1.3.pkg
Click Prepare

When I try and install a PKG through the CP GUI I ALWAYS get this
There was an error verifying the package file. It may be corrupted, or it
may not have the correct authentication information. The software package
was not installed.
However, untarring it WILL work so the package is fine... (Official Cobalt
PKG)....
Any idea's?
(PS: It's an XTR machine)
