Hi Jan,
YES!!
I just spotted exactly the same behaviour yesterday when something
wasn't updating properly. As you mentioned I changed ownership and it
was fine again.
If anyone spots this in their logs, then this is the problem:
Mar 26 15:16:18 iv8proxy named-xfer[4997]: can't make tmpfile
(sec.10.0.0.0.xeUCCl): Permission denied
