It would help to know more than "it's not working". Does DNS
resolution indeed fail, or does the webserver not return a page?
i.e., have you checked httpd logs and/or netstat to see if a
connection ever is established during failure periods? If not,
in what end does the client show the connection?
Improperly-configured DNS could be the culprit. Can you give a
sample zone to check?
What versions of BIND? Or perhaps another NS?
