RE: [cobalt-developers] phpMyAdmin and the new php pkg 4.1.2

Well here is the thing. A strange look I mean is that the "test" database is
selected by default and no authentication is present - Whenever I point out
the URL of the phpMyAdmin, it immediately default to admin@localhost!! I
have no clue where is the admin user is coming from! The mysql.user table
has no admin user!!

So, whenever I point to the phpMyAdmin, I get something like "MySQL 3.23.37
running on localhost as admin@localhost" which is normal but why admin is
there!!

Now if I click on the log off link, I would get the authentication pop-up
window and then if I use root or a real user then everything works fine, yet
if I just point to the phpMyAdmin, then it would let me in without
authentication and it displays the test database that MySQL has there by
default plus the user is the admin!!

I deleted caches, and I checked the phpMyAdmin config files, etc... and I
have no admin specified! so I have no clue why is this issue happening.

I will email you the link off list.

Kal

I haven't installed the PKG yet on a machine running the latest phpMyAdmin,
but some of us can probably help if you describe what a "strange look" is or
post the URL of a screen shot.
