Hi Curtis,
unfortunately the CD-Drive ist not to blame. Recovery works fine with the OS
Restore Images Cobalt provides but not wit the edited CD. Here's the
errormessages I got :
Loading linux ....
....
RAM Disk : Compressed image found at block 0
EXT2-fs warning : checktime reached, running e2fsck is recommended
VFS : Mounted root (ext2 filesystem)
[MS-DOS FS Rel. 12, FAT 0, check=n, conv=b, uid=0, nmask=022, bmap]
...
Transaction block size = 512
[MS-DOS FS Rel. 12, FAT 0, check=n, conv=b, uid=0, nmask=022, bmap]
....
Transaction block size = 512
VFS : Mounted root (iso9660 filesystem) read only.
change_root : old root has d_count=1
Trying to unmount old root ... okay
Freeing unused kernel memory : 44k freed
Warning : unable to open an initial console
kernel panic : No init found . Try passing init = option to kernel
Does this ring a bell to anyone ?
Best regards,
Torsten
