This is an MX record, right?

Have you tried sending mail to 'user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'? Does the M Sex 
Change server know it should accept mail for mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com?

Perhaps you should add an MX record for 'mydomain.com' aswell:
mydomain.com -> mail.mydomain.com.
