[cobalt-developers] Apache not restartig properly.

Hello friends,

I have tried to search through the archives but couldn't find an
answer for my problem. My problem is that when the httpd
restarts automatically after receiving a HUP signal or because of child
process did not exit sometimes it doesn't start and the web server
is down.   We have sun cobalts java pkg installed.
Following is a part from error logs :
2002-01-03 10:07:10 - PoolTcpConnector: Starting Ajp12ConnectionHandler on 8007
[Thu Jan  3 22:07:10 2002] [emerg] (2)No such file or directory: Error while opening the workers

After this the server is down and i need to manually resart the http
service.

Also one more thing i get the following error due to which the http
gets restarted
[Sun Dec 30 04:15:37 2001] [warn] child process 19314 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Dec 30 04:15:37 2001] [warn] child process 19448 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Dec 30 04:15:37 2001] [warn] child process 19449 still did not exit, sending a SIGTERM
[Sun Dec 30 04:15:41 2001] [notice] SIGHUP received.  Attempting to restart
