yeah, so that is why the loadmodule line needs to be added referring to
/usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so
if I just get libphp.la files, it does me no good
I used
--with-apxs
never saw an error during ./configure
I am on apache 1.3.6
it makes no sense that it can't work
if I uncomment the default
loadmodule mod_php (not php4) line and restart apache, it wouldn't hang
apache would it? It just would let me down and not offer php?
Might sound dumb, but as a newbie, I'd like to know why this isn't working,
it's nuts
Thanks for the help, guys. It means a lot to me
Joel
