Gee, I hope I don't come across as shameless as Benjamin Chambers, but I
guess it's time to announce that I've been working on some ideas...

How about a "backup-RaQ" you can host yourself, that'll automagically
backup your current RaQ clients for that sad day you'll need it? We're
actually looking at software, hardware and service implementations of
this feature, and we're almost ready to announce.

It's _always_ been a good idea to host DNS separately from your site
server, and my guess is that before Cobalt offered us their "webhosting
appliance" precious few of us hosted our DNS on the same machines that
we used to host our sites.

In fact, we've got DNS servers spread out across the U.S., we're going
to add more, and we currently host DNS for several ISPs, for several
hosting companies, and yes, even some individuals, who've become used to
personal service instead of a website interface. However, to solve our
problem of not getting those customers who want a web interface, we're
working on that, too.

We'll be releasing open-source software allowing you to use your RaQ
(and it's gui interface) to set up your DNS as master DNS, but actually
to host it (both primary and secondary) anywhere you choose. And yes,
we've always offered the DNS hosting service, so we can do that if you'd
rather not do it yourself.

Nothing on the website as yet of course <frown>.
