Re: [cobalt-developers] Cobalt development using Kylix

Mike,

I have a cobalt Raq3 and have been able to run simple console and cgi Kylix
apps on it. I haven't done any database web app or web services etc. yet
but, provided you put all the shared objects in place and have the
appropriate LD_LIBRARY_PATH I don't see why it won't run. I'll get to that,
actually I'm a newbie with Linux but the transition from win/delphi to
linux/kylix is really easy and straightforward - no surprises.

I do the development on a regular red hat 7.2 machine of course! :)

Curiously, when I asked Borland about Cobalt support they were singularly
unhelpful and very offhand. Let me know your progress offline.

rgds,

Craig
