yes you can, but its an "issue" area
just edit the conf files to write to root or cc everything to another
account

Subject: [cobalt-developers] SMTP snooping?

Hi one and all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to snoop on emails sent through a RaQ3 or
4.

What it is, is a client who uses our RaQ for WEB, POP and SMTP wants to be
able to keep an eye on what a couple of his employees are up to within the
companies email provisions.

Firstly, anyone know of the implication this brings up with privacy and the
like? Is this legal? I recall something along those lines in the press some
time back that employers were allowed to snoop on employees using their
systems on the grounds of legal accountability of what employees are doing,
but not 100% certain of all the details.

To provide what the client needs, I know that forwarding of duplicate copies
of emails sent to those peoples email accounts is not a problem by making
use of the .forward directive within the users web area, but what would also
be of benefit would be able to capture emails sent out using the SMTP server
transparently, so that the recipients get the email sent to them, and also a
copy is sent automatically elsewhere.

Anyone know of a config option or means of carrying this type of email
capture. Also, anyone know the implication.....

Thanks in advance,

Ian
