That would be great Taco, I've implemented this here, however it isn't
running 100%, so I'd be interested to see the technique you use within
sendmail, MX etc.
One problem I keep on facing is if the remote server is offline for more
than 4 hours, the sender gets the normal warning message sent back to
them from sendmail such as:
... Deferred: Connection timed out with xxx.server.net.
Warning: message still undelivered after 4 hours
Will keep trying until message is 5 days old
If you know how to remove this, or defer it to the 5 days, etc then that
would be great!!
