Tim,I am doing it so I can use Intel's IANS technology that allows for two ehternet interfaces to act as one, for a single IP.
Allowing me to get ruffly between 200-400mps of bandwidth to RaQ.I have it running on one of my other server (non-cobalt) and it drastically reduces upload and download time
At the moment only one of the two ethernet interfaces is working, the other just sits there with a pretty green light.
And during some large transfers I get alot of collisions at times. I am looking into possible causes, but either way would like to get ever last little drop.
Bottom line it IANS will only work with e100 and not eepro100, otherwise I would stick with it. Hopefully that makes sense.

Our 2.2.x eepro100.c is probably the BEST eepro100 driver of any linux distribution - Chris put SERIOUS effort into it, and if you have dealt with Chris, you know that means something. If I have problems, they will be posted here.you mean "When ..." I bet. Good luck! Tim
