RE: [cobalt-developers] Unable to Run Mysql on Cobalt Raq4

I did try to command below, but I got no result, then I found the mysqld is
not running !!

so I tried running safe_mysqld and I got the following result :

Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /var/lib/mysql
011201 13:42:33 mysqld ended

And again when I type :
ps -aux | grep mysql , I get the following :
root 12899 0.0 0.0 1364 512 pts/0 S 13:42 0:00 grep mysql

Also, I tried to type :
./mysqld and I got :
011201 13:39:29 Can't start server : Bind on unix socket: Permission
denied
011201 13:39:29 Do you already have another mysqld server running on
socket: /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock ?
	011201 13:39:29 Aborting
	011201 13:39:29 ./mysqld: Shutdown Complete

What it Wrong ?!!!

Thanks for cooperation,
Regards,
