Sorry but I thought this list was for cobalt-developers...

Recently we've had people asking how to show hidden files in telnet, and
where the index.html file is located. F.y.i. Its in
/home/sites/www.domain.com/web/

Come on people, are you developers? Why are you contacting developers
regarding this? Oh maybe you are developing a new application that displays
hidden files over the web and you need to know where to upload it to ;-)

If I am out of order please correct me, but you guys should be looking at
the cobalt users list, not this one.
